Wall and ceiling repairs, large or small.
A doorknob hole, damaged seam or ceiling patch can stand out long after the original problem is fixed. Landmark Property Services offers drywall and sheetrock repairs for existing Fort Worth homes and commercial spaces.
Targeted drywall repairs
Bring us holes, dents, damaged corners, loose tape and areas that need patching or replacement. The repair scope depends on the condition and support behind the damaged surface.
Texture and finish work
Plan taping, bedding and texture work around the existing finish. Share clear photos of the room and close-ups of the wall or ceiling so the texture can be assessed.
You do not need to book a whole-room painting project to ask about drywall repair. Tell us whether you want the area repaired and ready for paint, or whether you would like interior painting included.
Texture matching takes a close look.
Orange peel, knockdown and hand-applied textures vary from room to room. The pattern, thickness, surrounding paint and direction of light all influence how a repaired area looks.
The goal is to blend the repaired section with the surrounding surface. An exact invisible match cannot be assumed, especially where the existing texture is irregular or has been painted many times. Review the expected result before work begins.
A small paint touch-up can also show a difference in color or sheen. Depending on the existing paint and lighting, repainting the full wall or ceiling may give a more consistent appearance. Include that decision in the estimate.
Address the cause before the finish.
If drywall damage followed a leak, the source needs to be resolved and the area assessed before it is closed and refinished.
- Identify active leaks, dampness or recurring stains before scheduling finish repairs
- Point out cracks that keep returning or areas showing movement
- Confirm whether damaged material needs replacement rather than a surface patch
- Discuss access, protection for nearby surfaces and the extent of the work
- Agree on texture, primer and painting responsibilities in the written scope
Painting or patching does not correct an ongoing moisture or structural problem. Work that needs a specialist should be addressed before cosmetic repairs.
What affects drywall repair cost?
The visible hole is only part of the job. A useful estimate accounts for the work needed to restore the surface and finish.
- Number, size and location of damaged areas
- Wall or ceiling height and ease of access
- Patch support, replacement board, taping and finishing needs
- Existing texture and the area needed to blend the repair
- Drying time between steps and the number of visits
- Protection, priming, painting and cleanup included in the scope

Drywall work from our project archive.
These existing project photos show bathroom drywall work and a garage sheetrock replacement. They are examples from Landmark’s archive, rather than a promise that every repair needs the same scope.
Bathroom drywall work
The archive documents removal of an existing bathroom furr-down, new drywall and preparation for taping and bedding.

Garage sheetrock replacement
For the garage project below, Landmark removed the old sheetrock, installed new sheetrock, completed taping and bedding, and painted the new surfaces.

Drywall repair questions
A few details to help plan the job.
Can I book drywall repair without a painting project?
Yes. Landmark accepts standalone drywall repair inquiries. Tell us which areas need attention and whether you want the repaired surface ready for paint or want painting included in the estimate.
Do you repair ceilings as well as walls?
Yes. Describe the ceiling damage, approximate height, existing texture and any history of leaks. Access and the condition above the damaged area can affect the repair plan.
Will the repair blend with my existing texture?
Texture matching aims to make the transition less noticeable. Results depend on the original pattern, surface condition, lighting and paint. Review what is practical for your room rather than assuming a perfectly invisible patch.
Can you repair drywall after wallpaper removal?
Wall condition should be assessed after the covering and adhesive are removed. If paper facing, seams or previous patches need attention, include those repairs before priming and painting. See our wallpaper removal and painting service.
How long will the repair take?
The schedule depends on the size of the repair, access, drying between steps and the finish work included. Ask about the expected sequence and number of visits when reviewing the estimate.
